Round 6

THE FINAL

This was the final round of the Summer Series. There was alot to play for in both the buggy and the truggy.

Round 6 found itself clashing with the re-run of the buggy National at Pendle. So with alot of the top boys up Norf the points were up for grabs (Or so we thought). A few of the National drivers decided not to take the long journey to Pendle. So with a sunny (yes sunny) day forcast over 70 drivers were in attendace with drivers like karl Jackson, Simon Turner and Mike Waller in attendance.

Qualifying in the buggy was fought out between the two Kyosho boy Karl Jackson and Simon Turner with Karl showing the class of consistant 8 laps to secure the top position.

TQ man Jackson with his KYOSHO MP-9

In the truggy, top man Markymark Gregory enjoyed another TQ in his Ninja powered Mugen MBX5T Truggy.

The track was dry and the track team surprised everyone by running a completely different layout on the modular track.

A big thanks to Mr Garry Clancy for his track layouts and to the rest of the track team and helpers.
